SO far, so good

I am currently standing in line to check our baggage in the Sao Paulo Airport. We left Tampa late due to weather in Miami. They had troubles getting the flight up to us.

We left Miami timely and settled in for the night. The food on the plane left most of us craving a home cooked meal. Some of us were on the right side of the plane to see the sun rise. It was beautiful!

Once in Sao Paulo, we made it through customs without one bag being opened. What a blessing! The one funny thing about Brazil is that it is about 70 or so outside and people are wearing leather coats and they look like they are about to freeze!

So that's all for now! We will try to update once we arrive in Fortaleza...but no promises.

Benviendo a Brasil!
Glad all went well! Did Melissa even make it-heard she had some problems in Tampa with passport? Tom, we received contract from RCI for timeshare sale. Want it pronto=needs both our signatures. I'll call Tues. and sign upon your return. Love you and prayer for the whole group! Sue J

Hi Renae,

Glad you had a good flight. Quick question, did you mail in a signature page for FAFSA? We got an e-mail requesting us to send it in, and we don't know if you did already or if we need to take care of this.

Hey Christopher
Take pictures. This means that some of them should have you in them.
Enjoy serving the King and your trip.

Phillip,

Your dad and I have rented out your room for the next two weeks. You don't mind if five hobos are using it? They feel right at home in the mess that you left!

Hope all is going well and we do expect to hear from you at least twice via this blog (hint, hint). I think you've gotten another scholarship. Your PEF envelope came and there was one from State Farm. Woo-hoo!

Love and prayers,
Mom

P.S. Good choices!

Renae,

Little Payton Marie Lambeth entered the world yesterday (Mon., May 29th) at 1:31PM EST. According to Momma, she is gorgeous, with lots of blondish/brownish hair and good color. She is 8 lbs and 19 inches long.
Jen went to the hospital at 8:15 in the morning, walked around for an hour or so, and then had a very short labor. We'll keep you posted!
